Colour Coded Aluminium Mop Handle is a lightweight, durable professional cleaning handle designed for use with compatible Robert Scott Exel-style mop heads & brushes.

The aluminium shaft provides a practical balance of strength and low weight, making it suitable for regular commercial, janitorial and workplace cleaning. The colour-coded grip makes it easy to assign handles to different cleaning areas as part of a hygiene or colour-coding system.

A key point with this handle is that the fitting can appear unusual at first. It is still compatible with the Exel mop heads even if it does not look like a conventional screw-fit connection. The Exel mop head uses a self-threading socket, so the head is designed to engage with the handle as it is turned into place.

Compatibility / fitting:
Although the end of the handle and the mop head socket may not look like a traditional matching screw thread, they are designed to work together.

Place the Exel mop head onto the end of the handle and turn clockwise. The mop head’s self-threading socket grips the handle fitting as it turns, progressively tightening itself into position.

This is normal for the Exel system — the parts are compatible even though the connection may not initially look like a standard screw fitting.

To remove the mop head, simply turn it in the opposite direction until it releases.

You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).
